Library Support During COVID-19

Information about library services and resources including streaming videos, images, instructor materials, special publisher offers, and more to help professors pivot online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Resources to Support the Pivot to Online

While many of the MCPHS Library resources are already available online and familiar to faculty and students, this list highlights those that will be most useful as we pivot from on-ground courses to completely online courses for the rest of the semester. In addition, some publishers have opened access or expanded access to their resources for the short-term.

Streaming Video

Use online videos to replace a DVD you planned to show in class, find an alternative to a lab activity, or replace in-class demonstrations.

Images to Use in Your Slides

Use images to help your students understand a concept or visualize the human body.

Instructor Materials

Some of the library’s subscription products have extra features, such as slide sets, quizzes, or lesson plans for faculty members to use.

Self-Testing Options

Several of the library’s subscriptions include tools students can use to check their understanding of the content.
