LTI: Connecting Blackboard and LibGuides

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Start on your course page, or in the folder or module you want to connect to LibGuides.
  2. Click on the plus sign (+) between items.
  3. Select Content Market.
  4. Click on the plus sign (+) for the LibGuides Link.
  5. Back on your course page, click on LibGuides Link.
  6. In the window that opens, select the dropdown options for the:
    1. type of LibGuides content you want to embed (Full Guide, Single Page, Content Box);
    2. guide name;
    3. if appropriate, the page and content box
    4. Click Embed Content.
  7. Back on your course page, click Edit for the LibGuides Link item.
  8. Rename the LibGuides Link and give it a description, then click save.

Click in the plus sign between items on the homepage.
Select Content Market.
Click on the plus sign for the LibGuides Link.
Back on your course page, click on LibGuides Link.
select the dropdown options for the guide, content type, guide, and page.
Back on your course page, click Edit for the LibGuides Link item.
Rename the LibGuides Link and give it a description, then click save.
Your LibGuides item is now embedded in your course.
