Other Citation Tools

These aren't quite as robust as a full citation manager, but they're useful tools for creating citations. Remember though, no citation generator is 100% accurate. Please double-check your citations against the handbook to be sure they're right!

Purdue OWL (APA/MLA)
Purdue OWL is a great resource for figuring out how to structure your citation for pretty much anything. Select the link for the citation style you want to use. Your librarian's go-to resource!
CiteThisForMe
Great for creating one-off citations in a wide variety of styles, including AMA. You can also create an account and save bibliographies here.
Citation Machine
Pretty standard online citation generator, that walks you through the process of finding the information you need for a citation and then creating it.
ZoteroBib
A free and easy way to create bibliographies from the creators of Zotero. It can create bibliographies in 9,000 different styles that you can copy and paste into your paper. It's great when you don't want to install a citation manager and just need a few quick citations.

The Cite Button

Most of the Library's eResources can generate a citation for you. Look for the Cite Button or other Citation Tools in these locations:

In the menu to the right of an article/abstract.
At the top of the results list.
Under each citation in the results list.
At the bottom of an article/abstract page.
