Identify Relevant Journals

Talk to your colleagues. Some of them may already be publishing and might already be familiar with specific journals that are interested in your work. They might also be willing to collaborate with you or just tell you about their experience.
Search for similar articles that have already been published. Many databases will include an option to filter you results by journal. In other databases, you can simply skim through your results to find possible journals.

When you type your manuscript's title, abstract, or keywords into the search box, the system will suggest journals where similar papers have been published.
