Pharmacy Library Tutorial

Learn how to use the different parts of MCPHS's subscription to Pharmacy Library. This guide includes screenshots as well as text. The guide is separated into separate pages for each of the main sections of MCPHS's subscription.

Find An Activity

Browse through the list of results. Use the filters to reduce the number of results you have to look through. Filter by:

  • Title (Alphanumeric)
  • IPPE or APPE level
  • Curricular Content Areas (broad categories)
  • Completion Time
  • ACPE Appendix 1 Topic
  • Publication Date

The Active learning Exercises page is broken into three sections: an overview section, a search filters section, and a results section. This screenshot only shows the filters and results. The filters section is broken up into several sections: The "Alphanumeric" section displays a link for "0-9" and displays the alphabet. If any activity's title starts with a specific letter, the letter is hyperlinked. If no activity's title starts with that letter, it is not hyperlinked. In this image, only 0-9, J, K, Q, X, Y, and Z are not hyperlinked. The "Narrow by" section lets you narrow by "APPE-Appropriate" or by "IPPE-Appropriate." Both options are links. The next filter section is "Curricular Content Areas." The options within it and the remaining filter sections are not included in this screenshot. The screenshot shows only the first three results: <hyperlink>Acute Care Medication Order Verification</hyperlink> Jul 2016 | <hyperlink>Acute Kidney Injury Case</hyperlink> Jul 2016 | <hyperlink>Adherence Counseling Using the Drug Adherence Work-Up (DRAW(c)) Tool</hyperlink> Jul 2016.

Click the x to remove a filter if you change your mind. Or, click "Clear all" to remove all of the filters you have applied.

Notes about any filters you have chosen appear at the top of the filters section. Each one has a small "Remove filter" link. A "Clear all" appears below the last filter you have selected. Only the top of the filters section appears in this screenshot, with "1-15 min" and "E" selected as filters.
