Instructions for creating persistent links from MCPHS Library resources

In MCPHS Smart Search

When you're in MCPHS Smart Search and find an article, book, or video you want to use, you can either grab a permalink to the item page in Smart Search, or you can go full-text article and get the permalink to that page.

Permalink to Item Page

  1. In your Smart Search results, click on the item title to get to the detailed record (item page).
  2. Click on Permalink on the right side of the page.
  3. Copy and save the link that pops up immediate above the item title - that's your permalink!

Permalink to Full Article

  1. In your Smart Search results, click on the item title to get to the detailed record (item page).
  2. Click on the left hand side for either a PDF or Full-Text button to get to the full article.
  3. If you can get to the full article, use the URL from that page as your permalink!
