Instructor Webinar Series: Teaching with Blackboard from Basics to Advanced  (Vendor-hosted Training)

Ongoing free webinars to help with getting the most out of teaching with Blackboard Learn and Collaborate

Whether you are brand new to teaching online or looking to make some improvements to what you have started, we designed a set of webinars from basic topics to advanced. These are 45-minute sessions to help give you the tools you need to succeed. These webinars are presented by Blackboard Academy.

All webinars will be recorded and emailed to you after the session. Even if you can't attend live, please register so you can receive the recording.

Instructor Training: LockDown Browser & Respondus Monitor

This comprehensive training webinar is intended for instructors who plan to use LockDown Browser and/or Respondus Monitor with online exams. The session provides a detailed demonstration of both applications, including enhancements that make Respondus Monitor even more effective and easy to use.

Instructor Training: Respondus 4 and the Test Bank Network

Find out how Respondus 4 allows you to create and manage exams that can be printed to paper or published directly to your LMS, and how the Test Bank Network enables instructors to create online tests from official publisher test banks.

INNOVATIONS IN ASSESSMENT, FEEDBACK, AND GRADING

 

This year’s Colleges of the Fenway Teaching and Learning Conference builds on Dr. Joshua Eyler’s Keynote delivered to the COF community at Simmons University in October 2022, by focusing on “Innovations in Assessment, Feedback and Grading” by highlighting achievements, strategies, and techniques from our own COF faculty and staff concerning assessment, feedback, and grading.

Colleges of the Fenway (COF) including – Emmanuel College, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University, Simmons University, and Wentworth Institute of Technology- welcomes all faculty, staff, graduate students, and fellows to attend the annual COF Teaching and Learning Conference on Friday, March 31, 2023. The conference will have both in-person and virtual formats and feature presentations, panels, and workshops as well as exciting opportunities to congregate in small groups by area of interest.
